The Burstead Golf Club located in Billericay, South Essex are recruiting an Experienced Chef.
At the club we produce a wide variety of catering from Bar Snacks, BBQs, Hog Roasts, Smoking, A La Carte, Wedding Breakfast, and Buffets Etc. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate that is looking for a varied role in a busy, close working kitchen alongside an experienced 'in sync’ catering department.
The role will involve looking after all sections whilst preparing dishes, keeping your section stocked and ready for service. You will have an active part to play with menu planning and will work closely with the Head chef and front of house. You should have experience working with fresh food and be able to work under pressure maintaining our high standards and food safety procedures.
The candidate must be ambitious, disciplined and have real passion and understanding for food cooked fresh. You will come from a fresh food background; you will be creative, confident and committed with proven and successful experience. You must be able to cover all corners of the kitchen and be supportive towards your colleagues.
In return we will offer:
Salary £17k - £20k depending on qualifications & Experience
